NASHVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY| Lifestyle| The Hill Family

I know I always say this – But I seriously LOVE this family.  What can I say.. I’ve just been blessed with amazing friends and clients.  A little back story for you.. Amy is the preschool director at our church in Spring Hill, which is where I met her.   Over the last 3 years, we’ve cultivated this friendship that I wouldn’t trade for anything!  She and her husband, Nick, are c0-leaders of our Sunday night life group and we truly enjoy all the time we get to spend with them!  Amy is one of my favorite people to go grab coffee or dinner with because she actually laughs at all my jokes.. Apparently, I have a twisted sense of humor that not everyone gets.. so Amy, I’m not sure what that says about you – Ha!

Their kids are pretty much models, or at least they should be!  I mean.. Do you see them?!  They are all insanely intelligent (seriously), and without going into too much detail, their youngest is literally a walking, beautiful, full-of-life miracle.  Their testimony has made me grow in my faith and their friendship is something that Tommy and I treasure greatly!  We love you guys!

NASHVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY | LIFESTYLE | The Pardue Family

I can’t even begin to explain how much fun I had on this shoot! Our location was literally on the side of the road in Spring Hill, but that didn’t stop us! This family is so amazing. They went with the flow and was so fun and full of life. I just loved them and loved how their images turned out.

This session took place this past fall (I’m playing catch up with my blog since I switched it to my primary site) and the sunset was setting off this beautiful light. Loved it!

NASHVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY | Byers Wedding

That last name might sound a little familiar, right? This post will be a little different than my normal family photography posts.. and the photos were done in Oklahoma, not in Nashville, but I couldn’t NOT post these! In October, two of my husband’s brothers got married one day apart. Two family weddings within two days! Both wedding were beautiful, just like my new sister-in-laws! I offered to photograph Jordan and Kami’s wedding as their gift from us. (Micah and Sarah – the other brother and sister-in-law – had a close friend photograph their wedding..There photos are gorgeous also!) So, here are just a few shots of Jordan and Kami’s wedding day. Much like my husband, Jordan is insanely talented musically. He serenaded his new bride – so sweet. I was so honored to be able to capture this special day for them! Love you guys!

NASHVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY | The Bria Family

I met The Bria Family when they were referred to me by my good friend Jennie Pyfferoen of Jennie Pyefferoen Photography. They are new to the Nashville scene and it was such a pleasure to photograph them! They are a family of musicians and actually have a band that is incredibly talented! – I may have looked them up after Daria mentioned it.:-)This family was so sweet and photogenic and it was so great meeting all of them… One of the reasons I love my job – I love meeting new people and gaining those friendships!

NASHVILLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY | The Gunter Family

Warning – this post might get a *little* sappy. A few weeks ago I photographed one of my dearest friends for her family’s Christmas cards. I .love. these. people. I met Melinda through a coffee and connect activity that our church hosts and definitely feel as though it was a “God-thing”…. Bare with me and you’ll see why. My family and I moved to the Nashville area 3 years ago, and though we are very settled now, I remember what it felt like to not know anyone in a new town and to not have family just right down the road. It was lonely as a (then) stay-at-home mom. Back to meeting Melinda – she and her family had just recently moved to Spring Hill and I remember while we were all at Starbucks talking that night, I realized I recognized her but I could not figure out from where. Eventually, It was brought up that she was Ms. Alabama in 2006 and was in the Ms. America pageant in 2007 and was the 4th runner up. The “God-thing” is that I rarely ever watch pageants – I enjoy them, life is just busy.:-)BUT, that particular Ms. America pageant in 2007 I had watched an extremely small portion of and I remembered her from that five minutes I had actually watched.. I do NOT always have a great memory, y’all! Our oldest daughters are literally 1 day apart and our younger ones are 1 month apart – exactly. I love how our paths are prepared even years before.. It’s pretty amazing to me.

I love how we share in our frustrations, our hobbies (though she’s much craftier than I), our hopes for our children, our faith and our friendships. We are so blessed to call this family our friends! We love you guys!
